Undaunted by the cool Seattle summer, we are planting a fall garden. This week we removed the volunteer sunflowers that flourished in a garden that needed new dirt. Five bags of new dirt, an hour of picking and racking (thanks Josh,) and we are confident the pesky non welcome roots are gone. Here is a video capturing a bit of the fun planting this morning. I can’t wait to make stew this fall with the chard, so yummy!
